Guestbook

Beautiful property - well appointed, wonderfully comfortable, stylishly decorated.
Jane was immensely helpful and generous in her communication.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would thoroughly recommend to any families looking for somewhere convenient and enjoyable to stay in central Edinburgh.

Overall excellent rating, 10 out of 10 stars.

Check in: Very smooth, flat was clean and easily accessible. It was a cold day and the house needed to get warmed up, but the thermostat was easy to operate and the house quickly got warm. All appliances were working and the furniture was in good condition.
Furnishings: Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was a great size and very useful. Plenty of water pressure for both the kitchen and toilets, as well as hot water. Loved the style of the kitchen cabinetry and storage. A good variety of plates, cups, and utensils, as well as cookware. Large refrigerator. I might suggest adding a coffee maker, perhaps a Keurig. The coffee press did work fine, but for coffee lovers that drink in quantity it would be an improvement. The hot water kettle worked very well.
Ease of use/location: Cab rides or Ubers around the City were easy to acquire when needed. We walked mostly and to get downtown only took a few minutes. On street parking was scarce, but with no vehicle it didn't make a difference. I did see other street parking that would be available no more than a block away. A couple of coffee shops were very close which was nice. The family room was very comfortable and we all loved to unwind at the end of the day lounging around. Cable TV was adequate. Rubbish/recycling drop off was at the end of the block and very convenient.
Overall: Excellent flat and experience. We would definitely stay again. Good value. Top rating.

Just Wow, we didn’t want to leave!! This wonderful spacious apartment with its own private entrance has been renovated to a very high standard, retaining many original features. With its fantastic central location and all mod cons and more, this it really is a Home from Home. We particularly loved our morning coffee in the private back garden. Whether you just want to chill in a spectacular space getting away from it all or use it as a base for adventures you won’t be disappointed- we enjoyed climbing up to Arthur’s Seat , The Edinburgh Fringe festival, The Royal Mile and shopping in Princess street as well as Glencoe ski resort and Fort William. The Scottish scenery is unrivalled and we can’t wait to return.
Access to the apartment was very easy. When you arrive you are greeted by the wonderful scent of Lavendar in the pretty front garden, a generous welcome basket and super fast WiFi.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything easy to find and use with clear instructions throughout.
Jane is a fantastic and responsive host who goes above and beyond.
